The cooperative of Sóller is aware of the great value of fruit orchards and olive groves and the activity around them for the agriculture of Sóller. We are also conscious of the necessity to apply sustainability criteria in every activity which affects the territory and the landscape, In 2009 we took the first steps to begin to play an active role in custody and preservation of the environment. Hence we launched the project “Capvespre”.
The result of the first years of work of the project is the renovation of the building "Centre Capvespre" and its in April 2013, intended as a centre of study, interpretation and the promotion of activities aimed at the maintenance of essential ecological processes and the preservation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Valley of Sóller and the Tramuntana-Mountains.
The introduction of an experiential tourism and a tourism of sensations is the basis to open the installations of the cooperative and show the processes of the treatment of olives and citrus fruits by offering guides tours and tasting of our products
